VTS Classic - Overview
VTS Classic is a tried, tested and trusted software product designed specifically to enhance Dispatch, Towing and Storage Lot Management. It’s three products in one!
VTS Classic provides our licensed users with ease of operation. Simple, fast drop down menus allow an operator to open a new Dispatch, Tow or Storage Lot Ticket in seconds. In addition, using your electronic DMV access code and password, VTS Classic automatically accesses DMV records and populates the related functionality screens with the VIN #, vehicle data, owner and lien holder information, saving operator time and possible input error. In addition, VTS Classic provides automated user permission log-on and license verification, and notifies users of no-charge software upgrades. Moreover, to circumvent catastrophic equipment failure we support no-charge offsite single-button data back up protecting your data, your business and your money. In the event of catastrophic equipment failure, the licensed user simply reinstalls VTS Classic application on the server, PC or workstation and downloads the last saved back-up data to resume operation. VTSView is an optional fully integrated web based security and surveillance system that provides 48 fps high-resolution color images protecting your inventory, your lot and your people. In addition, VTSView provides Jpeg or Mpeg damage control images of vehicles entering and leaving the lot, reducing your companies litigation costs. Wasp Technologies WWS800 is an optional portable Wireless Bar Code reader with an aggressive bar code engine which is incredibly fast and accurate. Fully integrated into VTS Classic software, the WWS800 wirelessly enters 17 digit VIN bar code numbers (“B” pillar) into VTS Classic. . In addition, the WWS800 reads the 24 digit Certified Mail receipt numbers into VTS Classic, reducing operator prep time and errors. (Click here)
