The introduction of the 3000 Series in-vehicle transceiver is a major advance in unit design, enhancing real-time Fleet Management, GPS Vehicle Tracking, and Remote Engine Telematics. The first Product Line to be rolled out in the 3000 Product Line is the 3100 Series (L3100, H3100, U3100 units) which will utilize the Velocita Wireless Mobitex network for data transmission
The 3100 Series hardware box is constructed of rugged aluminum and is 25% smaller than the 2100 series product line that it replaces. The 3100 Series leverages a new platform architecture that allows Networkcar to offer products with various options for wireless data transmission. visible, an increase of 50%. In addition, a 300% increase in memory and a 200% increase in processor speed enhance overall unit performance. The 3100 Series also includes a detachable cellular antenna, facilitating easier installation of the unit. Like the 2100 Product Line units, the 3100 Series units (L3100 and H3100) are “plug-and-play” and do not require hard wiring (the U3100, which only provides location data will require wire splicing).

While changes have been made in the 3100 Series, customers should know that the NetworkFLEET product is one of the most comprehensive and robust in the industry. Networkcar will continue to support the 2100 Product Line and customers that have both the 2100 and 3100 Product Line products will be able to view both Product Lines on a single, secure web site.
